A great prospect for heifers, and maternal traits, 2886 is in the top 4% of the breed for BW; the top 25% for Stayability, and the top 10% for Marbling. His 2001 progeny had a spread from birth to yearling of -2.0 to +43. 2886 daughters in our herd are very moderate in frame, flesh well, and their progeny are well below average at birth. Their 2001 calves averaged 100 at weaning, and 99 at yearling. 2886 was bought by the Mebanes in our 1993 sale and used by them at high altitudes where they had no problems.
