Bred and raised by Lynn Loosli, Teton is one of
Cherokee's great sons. He was one of the best bulls in our April
2004 Sale when he sold for $37,000 to the R2 Ranch
and BUF CRK. Teton has tremendous volume, balance and
uniformity, and stands on excellent feet and legs. Very moderate
in frame, he is one of the thickest, widest bulls we have sold.
On a test designed for a 3.00 ADG, Teton gained 4.07 lbs./day.
His REA scan was 16.4 for a ratio of 131, and his marbling was
4.73 for a ratio of 150! Currently Teton is in the top 1% of the
breed for Marbling, and the top 4% for REA. The Teton sons
selling in this sale were 4% above average on their Ultrasound
scan for IMF, and 1% above for REA.
